With a degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University, Ciera has seamlessly integrated her academic and professional background with her personal convictions to inform her work in urban education, ministry, adolescent development, public health, and philanthropy. Ciera's desire to make multi-generational impact is rooted in her spending hours watching her grandmother teach high-school English in the city of Baltimore as a young girl.
